An early start from Orange under bright blue skies for an event at the Yass Bookshop, or rather at next door theatre. Luckily we had been warned it was cold and brought our coat! One Melbourne woman had googled what’s on in Yass and bounded in enthusiastically from her campsite to meet one of her favourite authors (yes, Graeme not me…). Fifteen people and fifteen sales of The Glass House (plus backlist) – so great for Joanna to get so much support.
Next to Canberra – Bookface, Dymocks & QBD Belconnen (in the latter there was a squeal of delight as she’d been wanting to buy the book for her mother who works in mental health as well as having her own challenges – & now we could dedicate it to her), and Book Passion at Belconnen Market. Now three days with a lake view thanks to our generous friends lining us their apartment.
