16 April

Visited the last of the Canberra bookshops; having missed Muse yesterday because it is only open in the mornings, we had morning tea there – and sold their last copy of The Glass House to a Rosie Project fan who happened to be in the shop. Then Harry Hartog and QBD Woden (shopping malls in Canberra I am pleased to say have higher height limits and less traffic) and finally Harry Hartog Tuggeranong where we sold a copy to a lovely lady who’s own story of mental health tragedy and loss was immensely touching.
Graeme does a workshop tonight and I’m going to read a good book…so many bookshops and naturally I had to buy some books – Sociopath (Patric Gagne) for research (the sequel to The Glass House features someone with this diagnosis) and Sanctuary (Gary Disher) on my pile now.
