A big day driving in the rain – essentially 250km there and back for the Broken Hill bookshop! But worth it –small enthusiastic turn out and a nice spot for a coffee out of the rain. Saw hundreds of goats, a few emus (one we very narrowly missed – he definitely used up one of his 7 lives!) and fabulous outback red dirt and scrub. Rain not so fabulous. In remote Jamestown where the BBQ is in the shed and their wine $10. A change from an amazing meal last night at Stefanos in Mildura!
