Hit the Perth bookshop tour (they have a lot of bookshops; at least three new Independent ones. Go literate Perthites!) Mill Point Books, Subiaco bookshop, Dymocks Subiaco and Collins Cottlesloe then Graeme did a workshop with Year 10 students while I sat in the wonderful garden at Open Books editing the sequel to The Glass House. After I picked him up, managed New Editions in Fremantle and Lane Bookshop before a lovely event at Open Books – wine, nibbles and a crowd of perinatal psychiatrists (a pod of perinatal psychiatrists?) and a psych nurse I worked with as a registrar (she’s reliving our time together reading the book…
